Welcome to my online portfolio. My name is Sean Dollins and I am a skilled generalist in 3D currently seeking employment in the Los Angeles area.
My interest is in effects and character-effects, however I have experience in matchmoving, layout, previs, modeling, uv-layout, texturing, lighting, and rendering. For the past two years, I have been living in Sydney Australia where I had the privilege of working on such films as Prometheus, Mission Impossible 4, and Captain America while working at FUEL VFX

About
Based in Los Angeles, I am a skilled generalist in 3D. I have experience in a number of disciplines including Matchmoving, Modeling, UV Layout, Texturing, Lighting/Rendering, and Effects.
I have had a variety of freelance positions ranging from graphic design, web design, multimedia production, motion graphics, and visual effects. In 2005, I began teaching along side my freelance work. I've covered topics including modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, effects, scientific visualization, and a variety of classes focused on the gaming industry, as well as those on graphic design.
From 2010 through 2012, I lived in Sydney, Australia, where I worked at FUEL VFX. It was there that I worked on such films as Prometheus, Mission Impossible 4, and Captain America. It was on these films that I became a skilled Matchmover in both mono and stereo. Starting in Syntheyes, for Captain America and Mission Impossible, the studio later transitioned to 3D-Equalizer for it’s stereo work on Prometheus.
